Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data this website processes, why we process it, and how you can control it.

Data controller

The data controller for this website is Jeffrey Reed Jr., operating as Lehigh Valley Web Development. Contact [email protected] for any privacy request.

Scope

This policy applies to jeffreyjr.com and www.jeffreyjr.com. It covers hosting, security, contact forms, cookies, and optional analytics.

Legal bases

We process personal data only when a GDPR legal basis applies.

  • Consent. Optional analytics and non essential cookies load only after you choose Accept all.
  • Contract or steps before a contract. We use contact form details to reply to your request and discuss work.
  • Legitimate interests. We use security controls, abuse prevention, and basic server logs where those interests do not override your rights.
  • Legal obligation. We retain records when law requires it.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a first party consent cookie and local storage to record your choice. Optional analytics do not run until you accept them.

  • Necessary. The cookie_consent cookie stores your choice and timestamp for up to 365 days. Local storage key jeffreyreedjr_cookie_consent stores the same record for quick client reads. These are required to honor and prove your choice.
  • Analytics, optional. If you choose Accept all, we may load Vercel Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics. These tools measure visits, page views, referrers, device type, and similar usage data. If you choose Necessary only, those analytics scripts do not load. The site also blocks analytics script hosts in Content Security Policy until you accept, and strips Cloudflare analytics beacons injected at the edge when our consent gate Worker is active.

When you click Necessary only or Accept all, we store your choice and a timestamp. You can change your mind at any time with the button below.

Processors and services

We use trusted processors to run this website. Each processor receives only what is needed for its role.

  • Vercel. Hosts the website and application. If you accept analytics, Vercel Analytics may collect privacy oriented usage metrics such as page views and referrers.
  • Cloudflare. Provides DNS, CDN, security, bot protection, and related edge services. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request metadata, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. If you accept analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure traffic.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile. Protects the contact form from bots. Turnstile runs when you use the contact form and may process technical signals needed to verify that a real person submitted the form.

Data we collect

  • Contact form. Name, email, company, budget range if provided, message, and Turnstile verification result. We use this data to respond and conduct business.
  • Consent record. Your consent level and timestamp in a first party cookie and local storage.
  • Usage data with consent. If you accept analytics, Vercel and Cloudflare may process anonymised or aggregated usage data.
  • Security and delivery logs. Cloudflare and Vercel may process IP address, user agent, timestamps, and request paths for hosting, caching, and abuse prevention.

International transfers

Vercel and Cloudflare may process data in the United States and other countries. Where GDPR requires safeguards for transfers outside the EEA or UK, we rely on the processors contracts, standard contractual clauses, and related transfer tools they publish. Contact us if you want more detail about a specific transfer.

Retention

  • Contact form messages are kept for the duration of the conversation and any related follow up, then deleted or archived as needed for records.
  • Consent records expire after 365 days, after which we may ask again.
  • Analytics retention follows the retention settings of Vercel Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
  • Security logs follow the retention practices of Cloudflare and Vercel.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights below.

  • Access. Ask for a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification. Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure. Ask us to delete data where the law allows.
  • Restriction. Ask us to limit processing in certain cases.
  • Portability. Ask for data you provided in a structured, machine readable format.
  • Objection. Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent. Withdraw analytics consent at any time with Cookie preferences, then choose Necessary only.
  • Complaint. Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Email [email protected] to exercise these rights. We aim to respond within one month.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always on this page. The last substantive update covers consent based Vercel Analytics, consent gated Cloudflare Web Analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, and hosting on Vercel behind Cloudflare.
